Cheesy Stuffed Shells

Ingredients


16 Ounces
Jumbo Pasta Shells
½ Pound
Italian Sausage or Ground Beef, brown & drain
1 10 oz box
Frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
1 Cup
Cottage Cheese or Ricotta
1
Egg
3 Cloves
Garlic, crushed
½
Lemon, juiced
¼ Cup
Parmesan Cheese, grated
to taste
Salt & Pepper
½ Tsp
Dried Oregano
2 Cups
Spaghetti Sauce
2 Cups
Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

Directions


Boil shells according to package directions until al dente (5-10 min). Drain and rinse in cool water. Brown and drain sausage. Remove from heat and add spinach, cottage cheese, egg, garlic, lemon juice and parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Stuff pasta shells with the sausage and cheese mixture and place in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Top with spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake @ 350 for 20 minutes or until the pasta is heated through and the cheese is melted.
