Start with a large pot filled with water ¾ full. Season with salt, pepper, garlic salt and seasoned salt. Add onion mix and meat. Cook for 2 - 2 ½ hours. Add cut up vegetables. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Make dumplings. Use enough milk to make the dough stiff, not runny. Drop in soup and cook for ½ hour uncovered. Soup will become thick. If you prefer, drop into salted water and cook 20 minutes then put into soup.
