Combine 1 Cup butter, brown sugar, eggs, flour, baking soda, salt, oatmeal and vanilla. Mix and pat 2/3 of mixture into a 15 x 10 pan. Combine chocolate chips, milk, 2 Tbsp butter and nuts in saucepan and heat until smooth, stirring to keep from scorching. Pour over crumbs in pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Bake @ 350 about 20-25 minutes until lightly browned.
