Bake cake mix according to directions. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Mix Jello with boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Using a fork or wooden spoon handle poke "holes" in cake (spread cake apart in small "holey" areas) and pour in Jello a little at a time. (Jello may settle to the bottom and/or expand; this is OK) Place cake in refrigerator and let cool. Mix pudding according to package and place on top of cooled cake. Let settle. Put Cool Whip or whipped cream over entire top of cake.
