Bread Pudding

Ingredients


2 cups
Milk
1 ½ cups
Dry bread crumbs
¼ cup
Sugar
¼ teaspoon
Salt
1 - 2
Eggs
½ teaspoon
Vanilla
2 tablespoons
Butter
½ cup
Raisins

Directions


Scald the milk, pour over the bread and cool slightly. Combine sugar, salt, and egg. Add the milk, then add the vanilla, butter, and raisins. Pour into a dish and set in a shallow pan of hot water and bake 325° for about 45 minutes.
